Members who engage in Chapter 49 events and activities such as lunch and learn presentations, seminars, special events, etc. are included in our Member Engagement drawing via each events sign-in list or as a submitter of an awards nomination.
Our "Member Engagement" drawing for a free membership will take place during our first monthly member meeting and Lunch and Learn of each new year, or annually in August, unless otherwise postponed

Your Chapter 49 Programs Chair curates the best subject matter experts and right of way related topics to increase our member’s knowledge base. Our monthly Lunch and Learn Presentation is typically scheduled the third Wednesday of the month (excepting June, July, and December). On occasion, due to scheduling conflicts, we may have to skip or shift dates so please be sure and check your chapter calendar on our “HOME” page at IRWAALASKA.ORG.
Our Lunch and Learn Program presentation follows the Monthly Members update at 12:00P.
The cost for lunch is $20 and must be preordered via emailed RSVP lunch invitation.
If you did not receive an invitation, please email your Chapter President.
Lunch begins at 11:45AM.
Member update and program presentation is always FREE and runs from 12:00PM to 1:00PM
We welcome suggestions for future right of way speakers and topics.

The monthly meeting of your Strategic Planning Committee is to tackle the goals set by the Board of Directors such as member growth & retention, increase class offerings, develop Alaska specific seminars, create added value for members.
Your SPC meets the second Thursday of each month from 4:30pm - 6:00pm.
Members are always welcome to attend and share their ideas for improving our chapter’s reach in the community and member benefits.
Check our “Schedule of Events” calendar to confirm the location of our regularly scheduled meeting. Barring a scheduling conflict, most SPC meetings are held at DOWL, 5015 Business Park Blvd., #4000, Anchorage.

The monthly meeting of your Chapter 49 Executive Board of Director (EBOD), deals with the day to day operations of the Chapter, represents the members when voting on various motions brought by members of the board or the strategic planning committee (SPC), and fulfills requirements set by IRWA International.
Your EBOD meets the third Tuesday of each month from 4:30pm - 6:00pm.
Members are always welcome to attend and participate in discussions on how add value to our members and our ROW community.
